Women's Opportunity
Award
This award provides
women with cash grants to offset costs associated with their efforts to attain
higher education and additional skills training. The ultimate goal of the
program is to help women improve their economic status by preparing them to
enter or re-enter the workplace. Unlike other award programs, the Women's
Opportunity Awards can be used for books, child care, transportation or any
other expense that will help a woman reach her educational goal.

Ruby Award
This award honors women
who are making extraordinary differences in the lives of other women through
her professional or personal life. A Ruby Award recipient should be a woman who:
- has worked to improve
the lives of women and girls;
- has had significant
impact on lives of the lives of women and girls;
- and
inspires and encourages
other women and girls.
The honoree will
receives recognition along with a monetary award to the charitable organization
of her choice.

Violet Richardson Award
Are you a young woman
between 14-17 who volunteers in your community or school? Who sees challenges
instead of obstacles? The Violet Richardson Award recognizes young women who make their
community and world a better place through volunteer efforts such as fighting
drugs, crime and violence, cleaning up the environment and working to end
discrimination and poverty. This award is not a scholarship. Rather it is an
award to honor young women for their volunteer service in their community. The honoree will receive recognition along with a
monetary award to the charitable organization of her choice.
